Finally, the rumored news has been officially confirmed. Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is going to have a major collaboration with hit TV series The Boys. Moreover, the release date for this exciting update has been unveiled as well.

In case anyone missed keeping track of events, there was a brief sequence of the Amazon series’ logo in Modern Warfare II’s Season 4 trailer last month. Since then, fans have been speculating of a crossover but the makers never announced anything on it. However, the big intel is out now, thanks to The Boys’ Twitter account!

Interestingly, just before the news got out, several leakers had already revealed it. Shortly after, The Boys’ account took to Twitter to share the announcement publicly – in the classic style known among fans of the TV series. Speaking about the details, then Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir will make their CoD debuts this week. Black Noir himself dropped this update in a clip shown below:

“The following press conference was filmed last year prior to Black Noir’s secret mission and before Starlight’s betrayal of The Seven”, read the description from the video. The latter also reveals that the superhero characters will arrive in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone on July 12th, 2023. They will be part of the upcoming Season 4 Reloaded.

Towards the end of the clip, it’s mentioned that fans will get to have lethal Blades with the Black Noir Operator. As for what they will be getting in all the bundles, a trusted scooper has already shared intel regarding that. CoD_Persues recently posted some tweets in which the insider unveiled details for Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir. Have a look at them below:

Going by COD_Perseus’s leaked information, the Homelander Operator bundle will feature three heroic Blueprints along with a deadly laser-eye Finishing Move; it will cost 3,000 COD Points. On the other hand, Starlight’s bundle will have three bright and deadly Blueprints. Players will be able to purchase it for 2,400 COD Points. Lastly, Black Noir’s bundle will include three lethal and silent weapon Blueprints. Again, it will also cost 2,400 COD Points in case the players are interested to get into the shoes of this character.
