Twitch has let JiDion down yet again, rejecting his 475-day-long humble request to the platform, and fans have a differing opinion.
It is no secret that Twitch is currently the biggest streaming platform in the world. It gives shelter to creators from all across the globe, allowing them to entertain the fanbase as per their choice. But as they say, that every good thing can’t be entirely true, Twitch has its own dark side. Their tragedy lies in the reported unfair treatment towards streamers concerning limitations of content, low revenue split, sudden bans, and more. And well, there have been multiple cases of it – affecting some of the biggest streamers on the platform.
One example that comes to mind is JiDion, who got himself banned in Jan 2022. The streamer messed up big time against Pokimane, resulting in a perma-ban. And now, even after a year, the platform has rejected his appeal to bring him back live.

Can JiDion ever come back on Twitch?
This mystery will always remain unsolved until the platform breaks out the good news. But for now, it looks like they have rejected his big appeal as the streamer uploaded a post on Twitter. In his May 4 Twitter post, JiDion featured an image that read his mail from the Amazon-owned platform. He had appealed for his ban, something that every streamer did whenever the case.
Sadly, the platform did not come back to him for over ‘475’ days, and once it did, it was again a big no. The former streamer revealed this information, who remained highly disappointed. But then, it instantly caught the attention of popular eSports journalist Jake Lucky, who posted a thread.

"You're staying banned and if you try to evade it you'll be ExtraBanned™"
WTF is that email? If you're never going to unban him then he can't be anymore banned.

Especially since he apologized for it and even made up with Pokimane and they made a video together. Super cringe

He apologized to Pokimane and they’re cool now, that should have been the end of this.

Last but not least, JiDion posted his mugshot in the same thread that instantly took the limelight. And then, it was just fans plainly trolling him for his pranks. That makes us wonder if Twitch holding on to their decision was the right thing or did they take it too far.
