We all know how difficult it is to rank up in the game. The tension is immense and everyone is craving for winning each match. It is even more difficult if you are a streamer, as problems like stream sniping is quite active in the gaming communities. With all these tough challenges laid ahead, a young talent was able to overcome the hurdles to rise up the Call of Duty ladder. With such top-level gameplay, the 7-year-old hoped to be a successful streamer only to get struck down by Twitch.
The popular streaming platform has stringent laws regarding underage streamers. If they found the streamer is not of the permissible age, Twitch is adamant to block and ban the streamer’s page on the platform. So, when the young gun who had over 1000 followers on the platform fell under the radar of Twitch, a ban was immediately imposed. This has sort of put a halt to the Diamond 3 Call of Duty player, who also was among the top 7% of the player base.

This is not the first time a young talent is getting the wrath of Twitch. Twitch even banned a 11-year-old Valorant Radiant player even though the child was playing and streaming under the supervision of his parents.
Twitter takes opposing stands against Twitch’s decision
The ban on the talented Call of Duty prodigy was faced with acceptance and criticism by the netizens. Some found it an apt step. They felt that even though the child is talented, age restriction is something that needs to be taken into serious consideration.
Good. Just because he's good at a game doesn't mean he can break the rules

Although the account was probably made by an adult, but the main face of the channel is a 7 YO kid, so it is kinda breaking ToS

This is US law, Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998.

That’s so silly. If his parents are cool with it, he should be able to stream

Yeah as unfortunate as the ban is I think it would be interesting to know what would of happened if they switched places so that the parent is more focal on the camera rather than the 7 year old.
I think if your willing to straddle the line between what’s fair and what could…

Whereas some others taunted Twitch for ruining its own business. Straying away from the comments, the laws of collecting data is quite a serious concern for the legal authorities, thus to be on the safe side, Twitch likely would stick on with its ban declarations. With time, we can expect more clarity on how the young talent would continue to pursue their Call of Duty dream.
