This year, the world witnessed a story that dropped on the strings of people’s hearts, like a spear. In an apocalyptic world, where the line between humans and monsters doesn’t exist, everything is fair in the name of survival. Adapting the magnificent world and story of Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us, HBO presented a show with Bella Ramsey in the center. 

Although it was released during the initial months of the year, it has already been deemed as one of the biggest and most certainly the best shows of 2023. Featuring Ramsey and Pedro Pascal as the main lead, the television adaptation of the TLOU won the hearts of critics and fans alike. Seeing the success of the first season. Bella Ramsey wants to be more aggressive in The Last of Us season 2

Playing the 14-year-old, gun-crazy, foul-mouthed teenage girl, Ellie, Bella Ramsey, had a lot of opportunities to bring out the fighter inside her. Having a record of playing strong and emotionally mature characters, Bella had hit the nail on the head with their portrayal of Ellie, shutting off all the critics who doubted their casting prior to the release of the show. 

Now as the second season of the show has kicked off production, ‘Bellie’ is all set to make a mark on the screen once again. This time ready to hit a little harder (literally). “I’m very open to anything. I’m looking forward to seeing how Craig and Neil adapt the story of the second game into another season. What I’m actually looking forward to is fighting more, but that’s just for me, not really for Ellie,” said Ramsey in an interview with Lofficiel.

For Bella, acting is not just a profession. It is an avenue that presents them with opportunities to experience things they will never do in real life. Going through an extremely emotionally draining situation and witnessing brutal violence are just a few of them. They are hoping with all their hearts that in this season, they may get another chance to let the beast out. 

“I like putting myself through emotional torture in a very safe environment that ends at the end of the day. But that’s fine. I’ll go to therapy for that at some point. I just find it so exciting to get a chance to feel things that I never would feel otherwise,” Bella further said about their thought process in the sets of violent scenes.
