YouTube megastar Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is what aspiring creators wish to be. He has been the source of some of the internet’s most viral stunts and ludicrous giveaways. From being a socially awkward youngster who watched YouTube for fun to becoming one of the most celebrated creators on the platform, Jimmy has had quite the ride.

However, even the business mogul has his deep-rooted fears. It might be hard to imagine what a millionaire could be afraid of. Is it losing his fame? Declining wealth? A stagnating business, perhaps? But no, Jimmy’s fear is much more personal and something that everyone can empathize with.

MrBeast reveals his worst fear to Joe Rogan

Donaldson recently appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience #1788. His interaction with Joe spanned a variety of subjects, from his lifestyle to his business acumen. But one segment caught everyone by surprise, MrBeast‘s worst fear. The duo arrived on the topic whilst discussing Crohn’s disease.

For the uninitiated, Mayo Clinic describes Crohn’s disease as “a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It causes inflammation of your digestive tract, which can lead to abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss, and malnutrition.”

In some cases, the disease can even prove fatal. Significantly, Jimmy has battled the disease since the age of 15. It even forced him to give up baseball, his childhood passion.

As they were discussing the subject, Jamie informs MrBeast that his friend suffered from the same disease. However, unlike Jimmy, who has changed his diet and lifestyle, his friend got multiple inches of his colon removed to deal with the disease.

But this has a catch, as undergoing the surgery requires an individual to defecate in a bag thereafter. MrBeast reveals this to be his biggest fear.

“…my worst fear is to have that. That’s f*****g gross.”

Although he confesses he has considered getting the surgery before. To feel normal and happy like other people post the procedure, even if they have to contend with using a bag.

But so far, he is yet to pull the trigger. It is easy to assume that Donaldson could just throw money at his problems until they disappear. Especially with his $54 million payday from last year. However, this is a situation that truly shows that money can’t buy everything.
