The duo quit Nintendo because of wanting a change. Also, Nintendo shutting down its San Francisco office acted as a catalyst in this action. The duo was offered to move to the new office in Redmond, but they wanted to embark on a new journey.
After quitting Nintendo of America last year, Kit and Krysta started their own YouTube channel. There they make video game-related content like vlogs, react to game-related updates, play video games, and share their experience working with Nintendo. But about their Nintendo Minute, those videos received a huge blow recently.
Kit and Krysta talk about Nintendo setting their Minute videos to private
Fans of the Minute videos informed Kit and Krysta about their videos being set private on YouTube. It led to the duo looking into the matter themselves and finding out their fans were telling the truth.
Kit and Krysta then went on to their Twitter handle and informed, “We’ve been hearing from people today that Nintendo Minute videos are being set to private on the Nintendo channel. We checked and…yup!” Undoubtedly, it would be hurtful for the duo, who spent over eight years making those videos.

But the YouTuber duo shared how pleased they are for having their own channel after seeing Nintendo of America setting their Minute videos to private. Further, they asked their fans to not worry about it anymore, as they believe their YouTube content is good and fans can still enjoy that.
How did fans react to this incident with the ex-Nintendo creators?
The Nintendo Minute fans were not happy to hear about this update. Internet personalities like Lamarr Wilson who appeared on Nintendo Minutes with the duo were also worried about this change. But Krysta replied, “We got you don’t worry,” hinting at them having archives. Talking about archives, many fans wished that someone might have backed up the series.
I should have downloaded our 2014 Kit birthday video; that was the most special one to me. 🙁
