Initially, it was announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage would be released on October 12, 2023. But Ubisoft has a surprise for all of us, as this highly anticipated title will now be released on October 5th, a week earlier than it was previously announced.
Assassin's Creed Mirage has gone gold and is coming out a week early! 📀
On behalf of the entire team, we can't wait for you to explore 9th Century Baghdad with Basim.

There are obviously certain reasons behind this decision. One of them might be a master trick to avoid the collisions in jammed-up October with other upcoming big titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Detective Pikachu Returns, Alan Wake 2, and many more.
Not only that, but the developing company has also announced that Mirage has also gone gold. That means the game has completed the development process and is now all locked up for release.
Mirage is principally set in 9th-century Baghdad during the anarchy at Samarra. We will be seeing how Basim Ibn Ishaq, the main protagonist of the game, transforms himself from a street theif to a full-fledged and committed member of the Assassin Brotherhood, the iconic group that fights against the Templar Order to restore peace and liberty. The interesting part is that Basim was first introduced in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.
