In addition to the improvements in graphics, God of War PC also allows modding but doesn’t have official mod support. Within a few days of the port’s release, fans jumped right into the modding scenes, leading to a host of custom GoW experiences that all could behold.
In fact, one of such creative mod examples is a recent one that happens to bring a beloved animated character to God of War.
A tank engine in God of War PC

Omega Fantasy, a well-known modder for GoW has created the ‘Thomas The Tank Engine’ mod, that features Kratos and Atreus venturing across the ocean, only to run into the massive Thomas in the midst of nowhere.
As fans know, Kratos yields a Leviathan Axe as his signature weapon. In a scene from the mod, Kratos throws his axe into the ocean. However, the axe doesn’t return to him even after he recalls it. As Kratos exclaims the same, a sudden tidal wave almost knocks him and his son over.

As they looked on, a huge structure rose from the ocean. “It’s the world serpent!” Atreus exclaims. Slowly, Thomas, The Tank Engine reveals itself and returns the axe to Kratos, like Jörmungandr returns Kratos his axe in the original God of War tale.
