Last week something truly astonishing happened in the world of Valorant esports. Sentinels, who were deemed as the underdogs, managed to do the impossible. This team had to go through last-minute roster changes and still came out with a victory.

Sentinels encountered a serious issue when it had to bench its key player Jay ‘Sinatraa’ Won from active roster. Some out-of-competition issues had rendered it impossible for him to continue.

This compelled the team to look for alternate options and it elected to hire NA Prodigy Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo. Tyson came out of his interim retirement to join forces with them, and the team managed to best everyone in North America.

Valorant pro TenZ believes the answer is quite simple

The time has finally arrived for TenZ to take an important decision about his professional career. He has achieved his first tournament win with new team Sentinels, which serves as an amazing feat.

Now that the team and Tyson both have realized the impossible, Tyson needs to figure out whether he should stay with Cloud9 or become a permanent member of the Sentinels.

Following his massive victory in Masters Stage 1. a fan raised a question about his future, and TenZ offered a prompt response.

“I think it’s like a no-brainer answer, kind of. Because this is a kind of the first time in my entire career Valorant-wise, CS-wise that I have actually experienced winning. And so, I mean, you obviously want to win right”

Dapr loves the idea of TenZ joining Sentinel

Fellow Sentinels player Dapr had already touched on that TenZ want to stay with them. He was very pleased with his performance and wanted to continue playing alongside him. Further, Dapr clarified that TenZ loved his time with the squad, and he knows they can achieve even greater heights of success together. He suggested that if Tyson felt differently about the team, then it would break his heart.

Safe to say that is no longer the case, as TenZ has also expressed similar feelings on his stream. It looks like Cloud9 has a serious situation on its hand with its key player hinting at a move. It would be interesting to see how things would unfold, following the conclusion of the Masters Stage 1 tournament.
