Tragic news struck the Minecraft community a year ago with the passing of Alexander, known as Technoblade, at the young age of 23. Technoblade, an American YouTuber and Minecraft content creator, had gained fame for his Minecraft videos, live streams, and active participation in the Dream SMP. 

His main YouTube channel was registered in 2013, and he became known for his Minecraft gameplay, particularly on the popular minigame server Hypixel. He shared close friendships with fellow Minecrafters such as Tommy, Dream, and many others.

Technoblade and TommyInnit’s texts made the internet shed a tear

Recently, a year after Technoblade’s passing, the last texts exchanged between Technoblade and Tommyinnit were released, leaving fans emotionally stirred and shedding tears. Tommyinnit, a young Minecraft sensation, had the privilege of being one of the last people to have a conversation with the deceased content creator.

The heartbreaking news of Technoblade’s death was publicly announced by his family in a video titled “So Long, Nerds,” uploaded to Techno’s YouTube channel on June 30. The video took the form of a eulogy delivered by Technoblade’s father, who introduced himself and tearfully shared his son’s last wish.

Following Technoblade’s passing, members of the Dream SMP, a Minecraft survival multiplayer server, expressed their farewells and paid their respects. Recently, personal direct messages (DMs) between Tommy, Wilbur, and Technoblade emerged online, providing another somber revelation. We shared some below.

These DMs showcased conversations between Tommy, Wilbur, and Technoblade as the latter made preparations for his final affairs. The messages serve as a poignant reminder of the bond shared between these Minecraft legends and the emotional toll of losing a friend and fellow content creator.
