“Takes a Lot Longer Than That My Friend”- Remnant II Players Confirm That Its Taking Longer Than the Average Time to Beat the Game

Gunfire Games’ Remnant II was one of the most-anticipated games of 2023. This third-person perspective-based shooter game is the sequel to Remnant: From the Ashes which was launched back in 2019. Remnant II is a Souls-like video game offering an exciting action-themed gaming experience for the players. Similarly, like Remnant: From the Ashes, Remnant II received more positive responses from the players after its launch on July 25th. 

Remnant II became popular for many reasons, among which the main is the game’s character archetype selection in the beginning. Additionally, players can use two guns along with their melee weapons. However, after its release, fans are now claiming that Remnant II took more than expected time for the game to complete. 

Is Remnant II taking more time to finish? 

Undoubtedly after Remnant’s mind-blowing popularity, fans were interested in its sequel Remnant II. After its release on the 25th of July, people were crazily excited to play the game and drop their reviews. Following this craze, fans recently shared that they took more than the expected time to finish Remnant II.

A dedicated website for games revealed a poll stat that showed people on average took 18.5 hours to play the Remnant II. However, completionists, who went through all available modes and maintained all side quests took 26.5 hours. This website asked players to submit the time that they took to finish Remnant II and the results were quite amusing.

It is seen that the main story of the game is completed in 20 hours whereas, the main story and side quests are completed by players in 22 hours. For completionists, this game was beaten in 35 hours. However, this website didn’t mention any specific difficulty mode for players. So, it is expected that players who chose the easier mode might finish the main story in 18 to 19 hours. This website also showed that for players who opted for all the game styles to play, it took 22 hours to finish Remnant II. 

Fans agree with the fact

Remnant II’s launch was really appreciated by fans. They were interested in reviewing this game after its launch. Now that a trusted website posted the news of Remnant II taking 18.5 hours to complete the gameplay on X, people started commenting about their views. It felt like players agreed on the time if the game was played in easy or normal mode. 

Remnant II fans believed that players can still do a lot more after their first playthrough- “There’s still alot more to do, see and find after your first playthrough tho.”

The majority of the players agreed that Remnant II took more than expected time to finish the game- “Takes a lot longer than that my friend haha.”

Players commented on being confused about the gameplay.

Overall, everybody kind of agreed to the fact that Remnant II definitely took more time for players to finish the game.
