Fans got their first look at Lara Croft in Fortnite on March 16th with the Chapter 2 Season 6 update. Upon her addition, she joined a long list of female heroes starring Catwoman, Storm, and Mystique. Recently, Epic also introduced a new Tomb Raider-themed exotic weapon and limited-time mode.
Fortnite has also given Xbox players a chance to play as Aloy. She is the main character in the Horizon series, which is otherwise a PlayStation exclusive. In a recent blog post, Epic Games announced that the addition of Aloy would be celebrated with a new limited-time game mode.
The game mode is called Team Up! Aloy and Lara and will pair players in duos. In teams of two, each player will be assigned either the role of Lara or Aloy. Those playing as Aloy will wield a bow which they can further craft, whereas Lara will wield dual pistols.
