Epic Games’ Unreal Engine for Fortnite (UEFN) completely altered the way players experience Fortnite. Dubbed Fortnite 2.0, It let fans create anything their mind imagines. Many maps like the OG Fortnite Chapter 1 map were possible only due to UEFN.
But now Fortnite’s UEFN is being used to create another battle royale game which may someday become its competitor. And it is being developed with the backing of five renowned Fortnite stars as well. The streamers, SypherPK, Ninja, CourageJD, Nickmercs, and TimTheTatman have come together to create a worthy battle royale game.

Even before Project V is finished, it is being compared to Fortnite. SypherPK’s Oni Studios’ Fortnite branch, Superjoy Studios, has been tasked with the project’s development.
SypherPK was recently active on Twitter, addressing fans’ queries about the forthcoming game. While he was there, User @lauvrryt raised some questions about the game’s mechanics. User @lauvrryt asked, “Will Project V have that one mechanic that is unique and adds a different aspect of skill to the game aside from gunplay?”.
We’re hoping to have more than one unique mechanic that hasn’t been seen yet in BR’s to really stand out.

There are several battle royale games available on the market. As a result, a separate technique for distinguishing the game from the competition is necessary. This was also a problem in Fortnite. They came up with a solution by letting players build structures for protection or vantage positions.
SypherPK’s response to having more than one unique mechanic also peaked the excitement of fans for the topic. They requested mechanics like anti-gravity, holographic zone, or jet packs to be added to the game. While other fans were also skeptical about the streamer’s claims.
The upcoming game has a long way ahead despite the hype
While some fans have started suggesting what those mechanics should be, some fans have outright criticized this approach. User @jagddoga has outright called this “dream talk”. He stated all five streamers are just imagining the game’s vision right now and are not giving any concrete evidence.

Ok but like, can you give examples? This is really superfluous language and I feel like its 99% dream speak and 1% reality. I know you guys are in bluesky right now and that's why you're not giving concrete details.

Although the game is still in its early stages, they do have SypherPK on their team. SypherPK is the one with development experience. But since SuperJoy’s output has so far been limited to custom Fortnite maps, it still is an iffy situation.
