Mario creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, revealed the star-studded cast along with other important details of the movie during last month’s Nintendo Direct event. The Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor, and Jack Black starter, Super Mario Movie, is lined up for a winter release and fans cannot wait for more information.

Ahead of the Super Mario movie’s launch, Mario voice actor Chris Pratt has given fans exactly what they wanted; sharing the “first look” of the movie in his latest Instagram post.

The Guardians of the Galaxy actor is known to joke around with his fans quite often. But the apparent “first look” of the Super Mario movie according to his description is absolutely hilarious.

The teaser is actually an edited clip from the original Guardians of the Galaxy movie; where Peter Quill is reaching for one of the infinity stones before Ronan, the villain gets his hands on it. The recreated versions show Pratt wearing the iconic Mario hat and mustache and reaching for the special power-up star from Mario games, instead of the power stone.

In his caption, Pratt describes the post as, “Amazing first look at Super Mario Brothers. This is going to be epic.”. 

Following the announcement of the details last month, Chris Pratt took to the social media platform to express his thoughts on playing one of his favorite video game characters in a movie. He talks about an anecdote from his childhood while jokingly teasing fans with his Mario voice.

The Super Mario movie is scheduled for December 21, 2021, launch, and creator Miyamoto will play a key role in the development of the film.
