A lot of fans have appreciated Nintendo’s progress in the industry over the years. But there have been constant demands to bring back the old classic-themed Wii features to the Switch console. Fans feel the latest upgrades of consoles lacked the start-up animations and music which made the company so popular in the initial days.

A Youtuber brought a fan solution for the fan demand with his creative editing and designing skills. The creator made a Wii menu start-up animation for Switch games. The video uploaded by Pineapple Puppy has imaginary versions of titles like  Super Mario Odyssey, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Splatoon 2, among several others on the Wii interface.

While some animations, like the one for Breath of the Wild on the Wii U, were just the loading screens for their respective games, the developer was able to give the majority of them a distinctive vibe that made it seem as though they were designed to be played on the earlier Nintendo hardware. The video works so well because of its spot-on similarity with the original functions and attributes of Wii U.
