When Nintendo revealed Super Mario Bros. Wonder, curiosity peaked among gamers. Despite enjoying the game, the decision of buying it or not remained like a looming question. Recent updates point out that they did buy it, though! The game has turned out to be a successful endeavor for Nintendo, being the first original 2D Mario game on the Nintendo Switch.

Upon its launch, Nintendo Switch’s 3D Mario adventure, Super Mario Odyssey, sold 2.15 million in its first week. The game was reportedly selling 463 copies per minute. Eventually, the game would go on to sell 26 million copies. No one had expected Super Mario Bros. Wonder to reach these numbers.
Being a 2D game, many saw it as inferior to its preceding game. But the game has already sold 4.3 million copies in two weeks since its launch. It appears the game is matching its 3D sibling toe to toe. This goes on to say that Super Mario is a winner, no matter what.
