The whole wide world saw the unfolding of the Super Mario Bros. movie trailer. The much-awaited movie treated the anticipated fans with a blockbuster trailer. Super Mario Bros. is an animated film jointly backed by Nintendo and Illumination studios. The movie is set to hit the theatres on April 7, 2023. Inside the Mario world, Toad is a humanoid mushroom character. Moreover, Keegan-Michael Key will be seen playing the role of Toad. And while the world saw a glimpse of his performance in the trailer, he has made a revelation about what he did for the film.

In a Tweet by the account Wario64, this development got highlighted. Citing from the article of the organization Variety, the tweet said, “I got to improvise a song in ‘Super Mario Bros.,’ which was an absolute blast. That was just a stick of fun, that whole thing.”

Moreover, in the same article, Key said, “I was working on the voice with my partner and trying to find the voice through the internal journey of the character. And then with the directors [Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic], we sprinkled some things in, we moved it around.”
