Super Mario Bros. Movie recently got yet another Nintendo Direct. Almost every star featured in this movie made an appearance, and they had a lot to talk about.
While they talked about the movie and Mar10 Day, Jack Black even went ahead and changed MAR10 day into Bowser Day, and Anya Taylor-Joy, who plays Princess Peach, was not too enthusiastic about it.

Amongst all these funny conversations, Shigeru Miyamoto made an appearance and presented the latest and final trailer for the upcoming animation spectacle. The trailer was outstanding, and it featured a bunch of new and exciting things.
The Super Mario Bros. movie trailer overwhelms fans with a bunch of new exciting details
This trailer opens with Luigi captured in a cage in Bowser’s hideout, and we can see him conversing with his fellow captives about escaping. And that’s when we see a pull star who has probably gone a little over the board.
Then Bowser gathers his army and talks about his soldiers, he talks about Koopas and Gumbas, and then he says whatever those things are. Well, those sad little spikey things are Spinny Shells, one of the most dangerous enemies in Mario games. Mario deals with his usual enemies by jumping on them. However, it will be interesting to see how they are handled by the Italian plumber in the movie.
Then the trailer shifts to Princess Peach and Mario discussing Luigi’s rescue, and then it cuts to him throwing a question mark box at Donkey Kong, and he instantly gets a fire flower from it. It was awesome seeing Donkey Kong use fireballs.
As fans might remember, the fire flower is the power-up that gives Mario a red and white outfit and the ability to throw fireballs. While Donkey Kong has never been a recipient of this power-up, the makers have taken an interesting turn in the movie by handing it over to DK.

And then, for a brief moment, this scene turns into a 2.5-D Mario level, and Mario jumps and does his signature ground slam attack. Slam attack is a move that Mario learned when he entered his 3D games era. This attack is basically Mario jumping and then slamming the ground with pressure, defeating any enemies below him.
And finally, for those unaware, the Mario Kart sequence of this movie actually plays out on the rainbow road. This is one of the most iconic levels in the Mario Kart series, and probably the hardest.
