On March 26, Chris Pratt and Charlie Day appeared on the Ozzy Man Reviews and took on their honorary Australian nicknames, “Prattsy” and “Nighto”. While Prattsy was a simple play on Chris’ surname. The host took a creative take on Charlie’s surname ‘Day’ and turned it around while giving it an Australian touch.
During the interview, Chris shared his experience playing such a significant character in pop culture history and if he was pressured about the role. “It was great man. I mean I grew up loving Mario and being able to do the voice was insane…” Chris continued about the current promotional tour, “The tour like… talking about it and hanging around the actors who played the voices…being able to hang out with each other have been incredible fun.”
Charlie also said how “psyched” he was to get the job. After the initial interview, Ozzy initiated a round of “guess the Aussie slang”. In this game, Nighto and Prattsy showed their true brotherhood as their Mario and Luigi selves became very apparent throughout the video as they answered Ozzy Man’s crazy questions in an ambiguous manner.
