On April 15, 2023, a tweet dropped the bombshell on the community. Although the details were very vague and unclear, as per the tweet, Chief Creative Officer Donald Mustard mentioned that a “last of us collab could happen in the future”. However, there haven’t been any official announcements backing this claim.

The tweet featured a picture of Mustard sitting at the Sands: International Film Festival in Scotland. It is not clear who was interviewing him, or what was the context behind the claim, but fans have been showing massive hype behind the alleged leak. Speculations and rumors have already started to spread across the internet.

The tweet also shared some amazing behind the scene facts about the near future of the game. According to the “leak”, Mustard had confirmed that Fortnite’s heroic team, consisting of some high-profile actors, The Seven, aren’t dead and they are most likely to make an appearance very soon.

I also shared some funny tidbits like, the famous Fortnite data miner/ leaker and content creator, iFireMonkey, is actually an acquaintance of Donald. And the iconic Peely skin was made as a prank on Donald’s content creator brother, Mustard Plays, who apparently isn’t fond of bananas. MustardPlays confirmed this by replying with, “Bananas are the worst!”

The Fan’s Reaction to the Leak

Fans are very hopeful about the leak, as many have already made speculations and theories about the event. Among them, many are wondering which look is EPIC planning to take for the collaborative skins. Will they make the skins akin to the HBO show or will they pay tribute to the original game by adapting the look? Only time may tell…
