Sony has had a great 2021. Its flagship event, the State of Play, was rumored to take place in December 2021. However, fresh leaks indicate that a massive event will be held this February. Along with the State of Play come massive gameplay reveals Titles scheduled to launch for their consoles, the PlayStation is showcased in this very event.

Massive Sony event rumored

Tom Henderson, a gaming industry insider has reported with IGN and the Video Game Chronicles. Henderson is affiliated with multiple reputable news sources in the gaming industry. He primarily covers shooters such as Call of Duty and Battlefield. However, he has intimate knowledge of the rest of the industry as well. His leaks and reports have time and again been confirmed and corroborated. It is safe to say that he is quite a credible source.

He took to a Twitter post that heralded major news.

Henderson has made quite a bold statement in his Tweet. “The current rumor is that the next Sony event looks like it could be in February based on this month’s media events and past PlayStation dates. It’ll probably be State of Play, but it has the potential to be a pretty big one IMO.”

This event has already impressed veterans of the industry. Adding on, there seems to be more exciting news for fans of the Harry Potter universe.

Fans of the series and players have been excited for Hogwarts Legacy. The game was revealed all the way back in late 2020. However, to fans, it was announced that the title would be delayed till 2022.

A fan of the series asked the leaker whether or not the game would make an appearance in the event, to that Henderson had something exciting to say.

The leaker reiterated the potential and scale of this upcoming event. Safe to say, it seems like Hogwarts Legacy could be making an explosive entry in this event as well.
