The fighting games community is all set for the upcoming Street Fighter 6. Being the latest installment in one of the most iconic gaming franchises in the world, the hype couldn’t be more real! Fans are desperately waiting for every reveal that the makers present, and the announcement of the official fighting stick was exactly what many wanted. 

Originating from classic arcade gaming, fighting games still incorporate their roots in both aesthetics and add-ons. A fighting stick is the modern-day counterpart of the classic Arcade cabinet controls. Many veteran fans and pro-fighting game players still prefer the old controls over the modem controllers or keyboards.

The game accessories manufacturer, Hori, has announced the officially licensed Street Fighter 6 Fighting stick for the PlayStation 5. The new control panel features a top-notch design; durable material set for long hours of gaming; an official art style, branding, and more. making it the perfect companion for every SF maniac. 

According to the official website, the cost of the accessory will be $229.99 / £229.99 (approximately AU$340), making it almost cost $30 more than the standard Hori Alpha Fighting Stick. This SF 6 fighting stick will be compatible to play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The Fighting stick also comes with a variety of customization options. The base cover art features official designs from the game. However, if the cover doesn’t suit the player’s taste, they can simply choose from any one of the 18 different cover designs it comes with and use them by printing the design. 

The Sf 6 version of the Alpha Stick features new art and decals instead of the classic blue hue of the original versions. The side designs are also changed, adorning purple motifs and SF 6 logo and themes. The fighting stick comes with 8 customizable buttons and a joystick. Users can replace these buttons by opening the bottom cabinet. 

Street Fighter 6 is all set for its worldwide release in June. It will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The base game will feature 18 characters, including Zangief, Lily, Cammy, Ryu, Chun-Li, Jamie, Guile, Kimberly, Juri, Ken, Blanka, Dhalsim, E. Honda, Dee Jay, Manon, Marisa, and JP.
