Sponsorship deals are a big part of soccer. Brands pay huge sums of money in order to place their logos on football jerseys. With millions of people all over the world watching a prominent Premier League club, these brands and their logos get a lot of valuable attention and credit by association.

Choosing to make their foray into soccer, Kick has decided to become the shirt sleeve sponsor for Everton. This means that Kick’s branding will be seen on the shirts of Everton players.

Some fans wondered why Kick chose Everton over other clubs. The answer has to do with Kick’s ownership. Kick’s main backers are co-founders of Stake, a gambling website. Stake is one of the leading sponsors for Everton. So, choosing Everton was a very easy choice for Kick. Moreover, Everton is also the only club in the league with Stake sponsorship.

In a statement released on their website, Everton’s Chief Commercial and Communications Officer Richard Kenyon said, “We look forward to working with KICK and presenting new opportunities for our supporters while providing valuable global exposure for KICK as they continue their impressive growth.”

The deal is set to last for a year. Future plans for the association between Kick and Everton are unknown. Nevertheless, the deal will ensure a definite increase in exposure for Kick, especially since the Merseyside derby is one of the biggest events in the league every year.
