Hacking is a huge problem in gaming these days, and most players are undoubtedly frustrated with the rise of such incidents. So much so that some of them now want a serious punishment for anyone who is caught taking an unfair advantage in online matches. Seems like one Apex Legends pro is dead serious about getting the hackers to pay for their deeds once and for all.
Well, this player is none other than the renowned streamer and FaZe Clan’s Nickmercs. It looks like he’s had enough going through instances of cheating in games recently.

Apex Legends pro, Nickmercs wants cheaters in jail no matter what
In case anyone missed keeping track of events, the streamer and popular gamer has been facing a serious situation lately. He has come across endless hackers who have made him annoyed in various matches of Apex Legends. After getting his patience level reach to its limit, he finally decided to express his disappointment recently. He has urged the devs to take strict action against cheaters.

Nickmercs posted a Tweet on his official account while mentioning how he “spent 20 hours getting hacked on in online video games”. And that he has lost his cool and wants the hackers to pay the price now. Precisely speaking, he wants them in prison. “If you cheat & hack in video games, you should 100% be sent to jail,” read the Tweet.

In another Tweet, Nickmercs highlighted the situation of Apex Legends and how it’s currently affected by cheaters. He mentioned that the Ranked matches are becoming full of hacking and there’s no solution available right now.

Meanwhile, gaming fans and even some prominent streamers agreed with Nickmercs’ idea of giving a hard punishment to those who cheat. Reputed content creator Tfue wrote this while slamming them: “Some kids didn’t get spanked enough in their childhood.” Few other individuals simply stated that the ongoing circumstances are complicated, as it’s not fully possible to eliminate cheaters.

What if the companies are doing absolutely everything they can but it simply isn’t enough and they’ll always be two steps behind the cheat companies?
I feel that’s the dark reality we live in…
