Call of Duty series is going through a rough phase lately. The ongoing installments in Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 have mostly failed to live up to expectations. Not to mention that they have made the community disappointed with the overall experience. This is due to the lack of engaging content and the necessary changes requested by the fans.
Interestingly, it looks like this is the right time for rivals to take on Call of Duty’s dominance and overshadow the franchise as well. At least that’s what seems to be the case at the moment, looking at an upcoming FPS shooter from Ubisoft. After many years, a different game is appearing to fill the void created by the current COD titles.

For those who are not aware of it at all, XDefiant is an upcoming multiplayer arena shooter game from Ubisoft. For more than a year, its makers have been running closed beta tests with select users to see their feedback. And going by the reactions so far, this FPS title is looking solid, to say the least.
Those who have been able to play XDefiant have praised it in terms of providing smooth movements, amazing features, and a fun shooting experience. In other words, it feels like classic Call of Duty games. That’s what most people are saying currently after trying out Ubisoft’s new project.
Recently, popular streamer and content creator Rara took to Twitter to shower praising words on XDefiant. He shared an image from the game and tried to emphasize on how detailed the weapons menu was. Not to mention that the devs have made sure to lay out all the information for a weapon’s firepower and full features.
This is something that is missing from Call of Duty now, according to Rara. “BRO WTF. WHY CANT COD DO THIS?! XDEFIANT LAYS IT ALL OUT. I’m Streaming this all week,” read his Tweet.
