Since Meta’s announcement on Threads, streamers can’t keep calm to see their favorite personalities on the platform. This platform is definitely one of the biggest rivals of Twitter in the market. Primarily created as a platform based on texts, it will offer features for sharing images and videos with the connected communities as well. 

Now that most of the streamers are quite pissed at Elon Musk’s policy changes on Twitter, Threads can be a potential platform for them. With this gossip brewing, popular Twitch streamers Valkyrae and Pokimane have already joined the upcoming platform.

Valkyrae gives thumbs up to Threads

Threads’ popularity is currently soaring high. Many Twitch streamers are regularly discussing the features of this social media platform. Needless to say, Elon Musk’s new policy on limiting the viewership of Twitter subscribers pissed the community at a serious level. Streamers like SypherPK have vocally complained against it.

Valkyrae aka Rachell Hofstetter is not just a Twitch sensation but the co-owner of 100 Thieves as well. 100 Thieves is one of the biggest gaming companies based in Los Angeles. Valkyrae’s Threads venture sincerely brought streamers and fans’ attention to this new platform. She seemed to write in praise about this new social media channel- “i already like threads more than twitter lol.”

Valkyrae’s thumbs up on Threads has a serious possibility of bringing her 3.88 million followers on the platform. Given Twitter’s continuous tiff with streamers, Threads appeared like an alternative shopping mall with better deals on similar products. 

Pokimane joins her pal on the new social media platform

Like Valkyrae, Pokimane is another favorite Twitch sensation. Her influence rivals that of her friend Valkyrae. Soon after Valkyrae joined Threads, Pokimane followed her bestie to the social media platform- “Same it feels so nice here.” Looks like soon this social media channel will become a galaxy full of game stars joining the platform.

Fans seemed pretty contained seeing their favorites on Threads. However, some of them seemed anxious thinking about how long this platform can remain a place for chilling. Unlike other social media platforms, Threads might become one stress-free space for everybody. However, whether it truly remains so or not depends definitely on its performance in the coming future.
