Valve recently revealed a new look of the Steam Deck set to compete with Nintendo Switch. It has recently shared an official update of the production of their new handheld devices along with the developers kit, revealing new images of the device as well as the packaging. Basically, it is a Switch-like portable, handheld PC. They have completed the initial design validation manufacturing build of the Deck, which will be used for testing soon.

However, even after this approval, there will be minor changes in the final product. Valve is planning to make the changes after getting the testing result to ensure that there are absolutely no issues with the device. The company also highlighted the point that the first wave of shipping to developers will be out very soon as they are also very excited for the official launch of this masterpiece.

Valve said, “One of the main differences between these units and the previous (EV2) prototypes is that we are now testing our packaging design. So before we start sending these out to developers, we wanted to give you a sneak peek of the final packaging that customers will see in February.”

Valve recently shared certain images of the Steam Deck to give a major hint of how the device will look like. This includes the interior as well as the exterior of the packaging box. An image of the Steam Deck shows that the inner part of the packaging is beautifully decorated with multiple language text to enhance the beauty of the packaging. Some pieces of the text smartly indicate where you can use this handheld device to entertain yourself. The whole package includes one Steam Deck and one power supply.
