Digital store front, Steam, recently added support for older Nintendo controllers. And now, Valve’s online store has rolled out yet another feature, thus bringing a big smile on the faces of many Joy-Con players.
Steam adds support for Nintendo Joy-Con controllers
The Switch was released more than five years ago, and Steam is now finally adding support for its Joy-Con controllers, according to Eurogamer. A newly released beta for the online store, from Valve, adds the support for these Nintendo controllers.
Players who like to use the dual-handed clutch capsules will now be able to enjoy PC games with the Joy-Con controllers. Moreover, they will also have options to make certain configurations.

Also, there is the support for individual Joy-Cons as well. This might prove handy for those who are looking to have a mini gamepad-like experience. With this update, it implies that Steam now supports a majority of Nintendo controllers. The Pro controller compatibility was already introduced four years ago.

In case anyone missed it, Steam recently received support for Switch Online classic controllers like the NES, SNES, N64, and Mega Drive.
Shifting the focus back to Switch console, there are tons of new releases coming soon for the device. While the first half of 2022 has already been amazing, the remainder of the year is packed with highly anticipated projects as well.
When it comes to the most awaited Switch games arriving soon, there are Splatoon 3, Bayonetta 3, and Mario+Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are also lined-up to make its way later in November. The title will be the first entry in the ninth generation of the Pokemon gaming franchise.
