For someone who has grown up playing the games in the open-world saga knows how the older physical copies used to be. In the past, GTA titles have been known to provide an actual map and a manual, alongside the main disc during the launch of any entry.
This has been a common pattern for almost all the titles in the franchise. And the players have been in love with this tradition. Getting such collectibles surely gives an awesome feeling, to say the least.
But now, many things seemed to have changed drastically. Following the record success of GTA V, even years after its original debut, developer Rockstar just launched it for the next-gen consoles. It recently arrived for the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 platforms in boxed versions.
However, as soon as the fans got the copies, they noticed that something was missing. It was the map and also the manual for the game. Moreover, one player even posted an image online, showing the comparison between the physical copies of GTA V for both the PS4 and PS5.

As is clearly seen, above, the previous generation’s disc came with an actual map and manual. On the other hand, the newest PS5 box only contains the disc of the title.
