Starfield is raising the bar of expectations with each and every upcoming update. Everything from the narrative and visuals to the innovation and research seems near perfect. The surreal hype built around the title can also be credited to Microsoft’s out-of-the-box efforts to let Starfield have all the spotlight. Hardly a day has gone by without the title making waves on social media since it was announced at the Xbox Showcase. This time, another viral clip from the gameplay has grabbed fans’ attention.

The game is being advertised as a classic choice-driven narrative. With space exploration being a huge part of the gameplay, floating around the cosmos in spaceships is an experience that Microsoft hopes to perfect for the sake of its patrons. A small clip shared by the creators adds yet another possibility to what players can do in this game when they’re in space.

Previously, a lot of games have had the feature of allowing gamers to take over enemy vehicles and ships. This time, the feature is taken to another level. Quite literally so, as it will happen in outer space. Players can transition from enthusiastic space explorers to cold-hearted space pirates and seek some action. The gameplay allows players to attack, take over enemy ships, and pilot them where they wish.

Starfield shared a glimpse of the same on Twitter. The official tweet said, “If you’ve always dreamed of being a space pirate, you’re in luck! You can board an enemy ship and add it to your collection, make upgrades, or sell it.”

The visuals, as expected, were very crisp in the short clip. But the highlight was the adrenaline rush the small teaser of the action sequence sparked among fans. The title is about sci-fi exploration which involves a lot of technical and decision-making challenges. The action elements might just be the perfect addition to the immersive experience. Although, it might be too soon to judge how well the action element has been incorporated with such a small glimpse into the gameplay. In any case, the setup looks really smooth.
