Over the years, video game developers have been putting Easter eggs in their games. The fans of those games have also had much fun playing those games and finding those Easter eggs. Bethesda themselves had been fanning the fire by putting these Easter eggs in their games.

Everyone remembers the numerous references to Game of Thrones in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Also, who can forget that Axe referenced the pixelated world of Minecraft so well? People also had great fun finding that mysterious headless horseman in the world of Tamriel.

Now, keeping up with that tradition, they have decided to feature one more exciting yet heartfelt Easter egg in their upcoming game. During the showcase, Todd Howard mentioned a place called New Atlantis. It is one of the large outposts in the games, basically the towns where players can visit and interact with people and such. The fun part is that New Atlantis is set on a planet called Jemison. This planet is named after Mae Jemison, the first African-American Woman in space.

It is very interesting that the developers decided to add this Easter egg to their game. Given the fact that Mae Jemison herself is an astronaut. An Easter egg based on an Astronaut in a game about space travel and such is a really interesting thing.

This Easter egg was not even something the developers were trying to hide deliberately. They revealed the name of the planet and such very openly. But fans are very excited about the possibility of finding even more curious things in this game when it actually launches.
