Star Wars Eclipse made a grand debut at The Game Awards 2021 event recently, exciting all the franchise fans with its sheer scale and cinematic aura. However, now it seems like we will have to wait for a very long time unless the game is actually ready to take off. Star Wars Eclipse is now far-far away from a release window, according to industry insider Tom Henderson. And when it comes to his claims, one should never keep a doubt on him. He just revealed that Eclipse is still 3-4 years away from its finished version.
In a recent tweet on Star Wars Eclipse, Tom Henderson broke down certain points and tried to clear the air over its current state. Yes, it is now officially announced with a great first look. However, it won’t make it to players’ consoles as soon as previously expected. Henderson, in his tweet, wrote that the project’s developer Quantic Dream is currently struggling to hire new staff. This means, their many positions are left vacant, implying that the overall development process might take extra time.

Star Wars Eclipse release stretches far-far away
Talking about his recent tweets, then Henderson mentioned the details he got about the game so far. In his follow-up tweet, he claimed that Star Wars Eclipse will not arrive anytime sooner. In fact, it’s now very far away from a possible launch.
“Eclipse is believed to be around 3-4 years away MINIMUM,” he wrote. Mentioning the reason, he said that developer Quantic Dream is currently going through a tough phase as it is running out of staff members; the company is struggling to hire new employees. And as per Henderson, it may be due to a controversy from 2019. At the moment, it has “60+ job openings” for its Quantic Dream Paris 7 and 9 in Montreal.
