Marvel’s Spider-Man PS4 Easter eggs in Spider-Man: No Way Home

There’s no doubt that Marvel’s Spider-Man is insanely popular among gamers. Its huge success even led to the launch of a remastered version for PlayStation 5. And now the No Way Home installment in the MCU has also brought numerous moments from this iconic title. For those who are unaware, actor Tom Holland had recently revealed that the movie has a special move, inspired by the PlayStation 4 game itself. But that’s not the only official tribute the film consists of.

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker loses Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) in a tragic and shocking manner. Later, at the end of the movie, when Peter goes to May’s gravestone, it shows a phrase written on it:

“When you help someone, you help everyone.”

Now, what’s interesting about this phrase is that Marvel’s Spider-Man also features this exact phrase on the gravestone when Peter goes to pay tribute to Aunt May. Because in the game also, the mother figure of our beloved Spider-Man eventually dies. However, the sequence in the game also had Uncle Ben’s gravestone next to Aunt May’s. But in the movie, that wasn’t the case at all.

Apart from this, there’s one more scene when Spider-Man: No Way Home makes a reference to PlayStation 4’s Marvel’s Spider-Man. It’s when Peter is monitoring a police scanner on his phone, just before he goes into swinging mode.
