Sony recently launched the revamped PlayStation Plus subscription in the US and it seems like fans are loving the benefits. With the all new PS Plus, people can bag access to free games, a cloud streaming service, and access to retro games too. The revamp has now made PlayStation Plus on par with the Xbox Game Pass.
The new PlayStation Plus features three tiers, two of which provide access to a free games catalog. Well, technically, those titles aren’t free and the new membership is actually costlier than the original. Nevertheless, the new features in PS Plus have managed to attract a host of PS fans. In addition, Spider-Man fans seem to have found the perfect opportunity to get a title from their long-due wish list!

The all-new PS Plus subscription offers benefits for every kind of fan
Sony launched the new subscription model in the US a day ago. It comes in three tiers, with the most basic one ‘Essential’ mirroring the old PS Plus:
- PlayStation Plus ‘Essential’ comes at $9.99 per month and offers access to basic benefits like monthly games, exclusive offers, multiplayer access, cloud storage, and more.
- PlayStation Plus ‘Extra’ comes at $14.99 per month. It offers access to all the Essential benefits, along with a catalog of PS5 and PS4 games. Players can download games from the catalog at no extra cost.
- PlayStation Plus ‘Premium’ comes at $17.99 per month and offers every benefit from Essential and Extra plus a huge catalog of PSP, PS1, PS2, and PS3 games. With Premium, players will also receive access to exclusive game trials and cloud streaming of games.
Spider-Man Miles Morales is one of the games included in the PS Plus free games catalog. Being an action-adventure game depicting an intriguing Spidey story, Miles Morales is an incredibly loved game among PS fans. It is still a PlayStation-exclusive title, but will soon make its way into PC in the Fall of this year.
