PlayStation 5 -exclusive Spider-Man 2 has been a long time coming, and fans have been eager to see what Insomniac has been working on for so long. This game has gathered so much hype thanks to its brilliant predecessors.

To add to it, those prequels even received brilliant PC ports, which actually added to the fan following of this game. Last year, aside from the usual teases from its actors, Insomniac itself revealed that this game would be “Swinging to Ps5 in Fall of 2023”. And a recent update from its actor cements that claim!

Spider-Man 2 actor just gave a huge update regarding its launch date!

Spider-Man 2 is one of the most anticipated PlayStation 5 exclusives of 2023. This game was announced long ago, and fans have yet to see any in-game footage of this superhero title as of yet. But they have had no shortage of this one thing; they were leaks and rumors.

A number of leaks and rumors made their way to the internet regarding this game. They gave fans information about how this game looked. They sometimes talked about the villains that it would feature, and they even talked about a bunch of gameplay mechanics this game would feature.

The biggest of them was the inclusion of Kraven the Hunter as one of the antagonists in the game. The other came straight from Tony Todd, the actor playing Venom in this upcoming sequel. He mentioned how this game would be way crazier than both its prequels.

Tony Todd has been most vocal about this game, he can be seen talking about it day in and day out. He has been so vocal that he recently revealed the possible launch date of Spider-Man 2, which has now been deleted. And this date matches the window given by Insomniac Games just last year.

He specifically mentioned in his tweet saying, “Looks like September! Massive publicity is coming in August. Commercials start dropping in August, so I’m told. Hold on to your … and hold breath! Gonna be necessary.”

He is clearly hinting at its September launch, and the “hold breath” thing might be a hint at the fact that this game would be something extraordinary. Obviously, his Tweet has sent the fanbase into a frenzy; previously, even the store page of this game made them hyped, but this is much more than that.
