Naughty Dog’s ‘The Last of Us’ is proving to be a magnificent video game title in the community. The game was released in 2013 for PlayStation 4 and then in 2022 for PlayStation 5. The title has done justice in providing an engulfing experience to gamers. With the release of its own HBO series, records are getting broken at every turn. However, the developers have given out saddening news for PC players.

Currently, the HBO series ‘The Last of Us’ is becoming an extravagant experience with the unfolding of every episode. The title is also getting a second season to continue the story. While some gamers do speculate the coming of the third part of the video game, the PC port of the title seems to have been delayed.

Naughty Dog released a notification about delaying the release of The Last of Us on PC

The Twitter account Naughty Dog Central (@NaughtyNDC_) recently released a tweet that said“BREAKING: The Last of Us Part I for PC has been delayed to March 28th.” With the tweet, the user attached an image that carried the official notification of the delay in the PC port’s release.

The team notification starts concerning the response that the HBO series is getting. Acknowledging the fans’ love and welcoming new members to the community, the developers were thankful for the love and support they shared. They also mentioned that the PC title, which was supposed to be released on March 3, would now be released on March 28, 2023.

Regarding the delay, they said, “We want to make sure that The Last of Us Part I PC debut is in the best shape possible. These additional few weeks will allow us to ensure this version of The Last of Us lives up to your, and our, standards. We are so excited to bring The Last of Us Part I to a new platform, reaching new and returning players with Joel and Ellie’s unforgettable story of survival, and we hope that you’ll continue to look forward to its PC release on March 28.”

Fans accept the delay while getting excited about it releasing around the same time as the Resident Evil 4 remake’s release

As soon as the news arrived, the fans were calm toward the delay. More so, some were excited to see that the game would release around the same time as the Resident Evil 4 remake. The RE4 remake will be released on March 24, 2023.
