PlayStation bug preventing PS1, PS3, and PS Vita games from running!
As reported by PushSquare, players recently revealed they were unable to boot older games such as the PS1 classic Chrono Cross. Following the re-release of the title for PS3 and PS Vita, when the users tried to play it, it was showing as unplayable.
Moreover, according to the players, this problem is arising due to a PlayStation Network bug. There were other users also on various forums that reported a similar situation.
It now seems like the issue is related with Sony’s database itself. What’s apparently happening is that the expiry dates of all the older PlayStation games have been reset to January 31st, 1969.

However, the main question that arises here is why there’s an expiry date at all for the games? Sony must definitely look into this matter as soon as possible. That way, players will be able to enjoy the classics once again, just like they used to. Otherwise, it won’t be a good sight for the company, especially ahead of the debut of its new PS Plus in June.
