Virtual reality has finally become a thing of today. All thanks to excellent devices such as Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Valve Index, and Sony’s

PlayStation VR. All these devices had a bunch of unique and exclusive games. Such devices added something unique to gaming in their own way. And most of these devices got successors that fixed some issues that users were facing with them.

Oculus turned into Meta and we got independent Meta Quest and Quest 2, portable VR headsets. Vive Pro 2 was introduced with improved ergonomics and a fine-tuned IPD slider.

Valve Index 2 has yet to show up and we are finally getting PlayStation VR2 soon!

PlayStation VR 2 would be at CES 2023!

The Consumer Electronics Show would be starting on January 5, 2023. And we are expecting to see numerous new technological marvels. But the one that we are most excited about is the PlayStation VR 2 headset.

Sony has already revealed the device and its price. The upcoming generation-defining device is being priced at 599$. Despite its price, some say it is totally going to be worth it.

We have yet to see the device and get a complete manifest of its features, but we know the games that are already announced for it. And we also have a list of games that we are expecting to see revealed for it tomorrow.

It has been announced that Horizon Call of The Mountain would exclusively launch for PS VR2. Then games like Resident Evil Village and No Man’s Sky would get an update to support this new VR device too.

Among other games, we just hope to see one game that has not been announced for it yet, and that is Half-Life: Alyx.

Even though every VR game is special in its own way, this latest entry in the Half-Life series is just something else. And we hope it finally gets announced for PS VR2 tomorrow.

Sony is going all out with VR games this time

With the launch of the PS VR2, it appears Sony is trying to make it a household thing. With games like No Man’s Sky and Resident evil Village, it has already cemented its intention to bring older games to VR.

Even though it was announced previously that it would not be backward compatible with PS VR, we have seen a number of older VR games getting updates to support the new device.

This just means that it totally depends on the developers if they want to bring their games to the system or not. So, there are chances that we might see Batman VR and Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot on this new device too.

Nevertheless, we are still excited about this latest step toward the right direction in VR tech.
