Sony has been actively involved in various things this year. The company has released big PlayStation exclusives while also bringing some of the iconic console-only titles to the PC platform. Moreover, it’s also preparing to reveal the next generation of its hit virtual reality console, PSVR2.

Notably, it seems like fans won’t have to wait longer for PlayStation VR2 as the latest reveal from Sony has confirmed an early launch for the headset. Not to mention that the news has delighted lots of gamers who are ardent fans of the virtual reality experience.
Earlier this year, analyst Ming-Ching Kuo of Hong Kong-based TF International Securities, presented speculation that the production of the headset will start later in 2022. They also mentioned a potential launch window for the first quarter of 2023.

And now the prediction has come out true, indeed. Sony just officially confirmed the release date of the PlayStation VR2. The successor to the first virtual reality product will make its way in early 2023. This was revealed in one of the most recent tweets from PlayStation UK on Twitter.

Not to mention that the update made ardent fans really happy. Especially those, who liked the experience with the predecessor from Sony a few years back. Now they won’t have to wait for an extended period.

Meanwhile, when it comes to the PlayStation consoles, 2022 seems to be a great year in terms of offering multiple options to gamers. Upcoming PlayStation-based titles include the likes of Overwatch 2, A Plague Tale; Requiem, and Gotham Knights.
There’s also a brand new Call of Duty installment coming in late October. Modern Warfare II, developed by Infinity Ward, is a direct sequel to the hit entry from 2019. It will undoubtedly be full of amazing features and fresh game modes as well.
