Spider-Man fans received another great surprise from the developers. After revealing some mind-blowing villains from Venom to Kraven, it is time to talk about another spine-chilling villain that entered the universe of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. And this villain is none other than, Sandman. 

Insomniac Games recently dropped a trailer that revealed what it is going to be for Spider-Man to fight against this villain. Yes, the classic anti-hero of the Marvel universe is back in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. And the fans are almost jaws dropped with the glimpse.

Insomniac has already dropped a great list of villains in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. And from Sinister Six to Venom, almost half of the Spidey Universe’s villains are there in the game. But this doesn’t end here. This is because of Insomniac’s recent surprise revelation of Sandman in the game. In a recent trailer by PlayStation, fans spotted our friendly neighborhood superhero fighting against this epic villain. 

Sandman is a known antagonist of Spider-Man. His original name is Flint Marko and he made his debut appearance in the film, Spider-Man 3.

And now with his presence in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, fans are surely overjoyed. Sandman appeared as a professional criminal who also happens to kill Peter’s uncle Ben Parker. Sandman is not really a villain as his story offers his criminal offenses for taking care of his cancer-stricken daughter. Since a fan posted the clip on X (former Twitter), there has been a storm in social media- “Sandman is jaw dropping in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2″

Fans going crazy over Sandman’s presence in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Sandman’s presence in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s recent trailer has surely moved the fans. And that is visible through the comments. Fans commented that Sony never disappoints them with marvelous gameplay experience- “Sony never disappoints with these PS exclusives.” 

It seemed people were already a fan of the game.

Fans hoped that this time developers wouldn’t disappoint them with repetitive gameplay since the cutscenes are great already- “Cutscenes look dope, hope the gameplay is less repetitive this time round.” Fans also jokingly commented how the game makes up for its price.
