But it’s still a month and a few weeks’ wait before the game to release on November 9. Meanwhile, Sony revealed two more big Ragnarok updates at their latest State of Play, making fans more excited about the game.

God of War Ragnarok is the upcoming game by Santa Monica Studio for PlayStation 4 and 5. The upcoming game is set three years after the events of the last game. And the father-son duo is on a journey to stop a great calamity called Ragnarok.

Major God of War Ragnarok updates revealed at the Sony State of Play

Sony recently hosted a showcase event, the State of Play, to reveal more about the upcoming projects and the game releasing this winter. One of those upcoming releases is the much-awaited God of War Ragnarok. At the event, the Japanese giants revealed two significant updates for the upcoming game.

Sony revealed a limited edition God of War Ragnarok DualSense controller. The controller has a cool blue and icy white theme, as most of the game revolves around a cool winter. Further, the controller bears two wolf insignia representing the father-son duo or Skoll and Hati wolves.

After the controller reveal, Sony showcased a story trailer of the upcoming God of War. In the trailer, we can see Kratos having issues communicating with his teenage son, Atreus. Further, the duo comes across a possible new ally, the Norse God of War Tyr. The trailer also reveals the threats the pair will face on this journey, like Freya, Thor, and more new creatures.

What do fans have to say about the Ragnarok updates?

Fans adored the limited edition Ragnarok-themed DualSense controller and they can’t wait to get their hands on them. As for the trailer, fans are excited about it as well. But many hoped Sony to reveal other games like the Spider-Man sequel. Some even claimed to transition to Xbox as they have a better lineup. Let’s look at some of those tweets.
