Sonic the Hedgehog is all set to make its debut in Monster Hunter Rise and fans can’t contain their excitement. On 17th Nov 2021, Monster Hunter announced this collaboration on Twitter. The tweet didn’t take long to go viral, and as things stand right, the community seems very happy with what’s coming their way.

The tweet came with a caption: “OH YEAH! @Sonic_Hedgehog collaboration coming in FAST! Available to all #MHRise players starting November 26.”

Sonic the hedgehog is nothing short of a pop culture phenomenon, and when the game comes out on 26th Nov, it’s expected to be a massive hit.

Though crossovers, till not too long ago, were confined to the world of movies and TV series, times are changing.

Over the last few years, the gaming industry has witnessed many collaborations. To name one off the top of the head, Fortnite’s ongoing collaboration with Naruto. And as time goes on, these collaborations/crossovers will become more and more common.

When will Sonic come to Monster Hunter Rise?

Anyway, the collaborative content will be available for Nintendo Switch later this month, as has been mentioned before. On November 26, to reiterate. However, as the game arrives on the PC next year, PC players will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on this exciting content, which shall be accessible upon launch. Monster Hunter Rise is expected to come to PC in January next year.

This crossover will feature tons of new content, and it will also feature the iconic Sonic outfit for Monster Hunter heroes. Apart from these, it will also feature various quests and events from the Sonic the Hedgehog video game like the legendary rings.

Players will get to experience a special sonic outfit designed for Palicoe. In fact, both these heroes will also get the Sonic’s powers, for instance, his unmatched speed.

This is not the first crossover in Monster Hunter Rise, this game has featured a lot of crossovers in the past as well, involving games like Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection, Mega Man Rush, Okami, Street Fighter, and much more.
