However, the event’s main spark arrived with the Counter-Strike cathedral deciding to bid farewell to their all-time favorite title Global Offensive. The clip was shared by a trusted source and streamer Jake Lucy on his X profile with a note that said- “CS event having a moment of silence to say goodbye to CSGO is why ya just can’t beat this esport.” This clip showed numerous Counter Strike fans lighting the flash of their mobile phones as the screen shared some nostalgic glimpses from Global Offensive’s gameplay. Although Counter Strike 2 will bring a huge bang with its improvised FPS techniques, Global Offensive will remain a close-to-heart game for many.
