Call of Duty Vanguard getting some crucial fixes

Vanguard has been a mixed bag for Activision and also the developing team Sledgehammer Games. Unlike its predecessors, it didn’t see a strong, positive reaction from fans upon its awaited release worldwide. That’s because it came along with many inevitable bugs and gameplay issues. To put things in perspective, the game’s userscore on Metacritics is 3.7.

It’s obvious that players haven’t really liked Call of Duty Vanguard wholeheartedly. But this year might make the situation somewhat better for the title.

As you can see in the tweet above, Sledgehammer Games recently mentioned some important changes, coming in the next update for Call of Duty Vanguard. They include the following improvements:

  • Panzerfaust Challenges Dog face will have an issue fixed that made it difficult for players to finish it.
  • There will be fresh Perk adjustments, in order to counter fire-related scenarios.
  • Weapon balancing pass will make its way into the game.
  • Mortar Barrage will receive a tweak to have a decreased duration.
