Many fans were considering Konami’s Silent Hill series to be dead. And they had a reasonable doubt about that, as the series had not seen a new title since 2012. But now, this game is also on the list of game series Konami is breathing life into. Classic Konami series like Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid are getting their remakes developed.
In October 2022, Konami held a Silent Hill Transmission presentation for the future plans of the series. The fans of the horror series were overjoyed to know that a lineup of games are coming for the horror series. Now new leaks suggest that the development of these games is progressing rapidly and is at its final stages.
Industry insider thinks fans will have new Silent Hill trailers soon

Fans of the horror anthology series received promising news when Konami announced a lineup of games. The series was going to make a grand return when Konami announced three new games and two other new projects. The Japanese company revealed the titles as Silent Hill: Townfall, Silent Hill f, and Silent Hill: Ascension, along with a movie and Silent Hill 2 Remake.
Fans thought they would have to wait for quite a while for these games to see the daylight. But in a thread of Discord chats released, an industry insider named DuskGolem had some more good news for the fans. Almost six months after Konami’s announcement, DuskGolem revealed that he has personally seen the trailers for three upcoming projects of the horror series, namely, Townfall, Ascension, and the Silent Hills 2 Remake.

However, he did not know the exact date when these trailers will be made public. Although he was wary about revealing any further information to fans due to his “promising not to talk about them.” But he did give his broad opinions about each trailer. He praised Ascension’s graphics and said that Townfall looks interesting.
He also has some high words for the Silent Hill 2 Remake, praising its great art direction. The remake is going to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive for a duration of one year. Finally, he revealed one of these trailers will be released before the Summer Game Fest on June 8.
