62,000 fans at the London Stadium saw an absolute banger of a contest between two star-studded teams: Sidemen FC vs. YouTube All-Stars in the Sidemen Charity Match 2023. This 13-goal thriller not only broke the viewership records but also broke the record for the most funds collected, easily raising more than last year’s amount. Speaking of what was broken, there could’ve been another addition to the list, which thankfully did not happen.

No, not any other record; the intense tackle from IShowSpeed could have broken the knee of MrBeast. Although there is no severe injury, the No. 1 YouTuber is having some discomfort in his leg, even after one day of the match.

The match had already seen things heat up between Speed and MrBeast. It was just over 100 seconds on the clock when Speed slid through the left flank to tackle Mr. Beast dangerously. The 18-year-old streamer didn’t hesitate to justify his online name and rushed straight into the 25-year-old YouTuber. Although there is no sign of any major injury as of now. After a day had elapsed, MrBeast himself updated the status of his knee. He stated that even the next day, his “right knee was throbbing” when he tried to stand up.

Speed wasn’t penalized for his harsh tackle, as charity matches like these are not played with a competitive mindset, but to raise funds for charities.

Although, this was not the first instance of speed diving in for rough tackles. Last year, KSI faced the wrath of Speed’s tackle. Maybe that’s why KSI might have changed his position this year?

MrBeast was not far behind Speed in making things even. He took his fine revenge in the 71st minute. Speed was trying to squeeze one past the Sidemen FC defenders when Beast restricted the YouTube All-Stars winger with one of the cleanest tackles you will ever see in the box. Beast immediately started celebrating after hitting two birds with one stone. This goal would have reduced the lead for Sidmen FC, but don’t worry, “MrBeast” Maldini to the rescue.
