As introduced by Genshin Impact, Layla is a Rtawahist student who has mastery in Theoretical Astrology. Notably, Layla carries powerful talents with her. Acting as a sword wielder, her talent, Sword of the Radiant Path, facilitates her to make three rapid sword attacks. Moreover, by relinquishing more stamina, she can perform a charged attack of two rapid sword strikes.

As per Night of Formal Focus, she can raise a shield known as the Curtain of Slumber, dealing AoE Cryo damage to close enemies. Though Layla gets affected by the shield for a short time, it can absorb Cryo DMG with 250% effectiveness. Night Stars and Shooting Stars, acting as another instance of the ability, facilitate the Rtawahist student with one night star every 1.5 seconds while the shield is active.

For her Elemental Burst, Layla will unleash a Celestial Dreamsphere that continuously fires Starlight Slug hits within its AoE. Also, with every hit, one Night star will be generated for nearby Curtains of Slumber. Thus, one can surely be invoked by the upcoming character in Genshin Impact.
