The craze for Sega’s iconic speedrunner, Sonic the Hedgehog, has never died. Sega’s plans on bringing forth Sonic Frontiers are in full swing. This time, Sega has made sure to reach out to all ends and improve their efforts in localizing the game as much as possible. The official Twitter handle of the speedrunner announced all the supported languages for the game, which includes voiced and subtitled languages.
Sonic Frontiers announces all the supported languages in the game
In a tweet from the official Twitter handle of Sonic The Hedgehog, Sega announced about all the supported languages for Sonic Frontiers. They didn’t fail to recognize the hard work being done by the team in localizing the game for all audiences. The subtitled and voiced languages include English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish; while Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese will be available as only subtitled languages.

It is important to note here that Korean and the two Chinese languages will only be available for Xbox and PC users.

The announcement of Sonic Frontiers was indeed a great delight for many fans during the Game Awards 2021. It is slated to release in Holiday season of 2022 and will mark an epic return of the Sonic videogames back into the market. It is expected that the game will launch on all platforms, including previous gen and next-gen consoles. For PC, it might release via Steam or in the Xbox Game Pass.

There are very unclear expectations of this game when it comes to performance in the next-gen platforms. There may be elements of Ray Tracing present in the game, which might be a reason to be hyped about its release this year. Furthermore, the game might need RTX 3060 for support on PC, which gives users an added expectation to keep their hopes high for the game.
Sonic games are usually not graphically demanding. However, all these rumors might give users an enhanced hope of expecting some spectacular graphics in the game. The release date for the game is unclear and fans await an official announcement from Sega regarding the same.
