Talk about your past coming back to haunt you and this is what popular streamer xQc had to put up with when he was recently forced to leave a casino where he had gone to have a family dinner. It was his birthday but the day became memorable for all the wrong reasons.
The Canadian streamer and creator xQc is no stranger to controversies. He is mostly making headlines for his gambling streams, which are widely enjoyed by his fans. However, recently the streamer himself revealed an incident that made the security of a casino “drag him out.”

According to xQc’s narrative on X, the latter had gone to spend some quality time with his family at Montreal Casino. The plan was to have dinner and play some light-hearted table games. Unfortunately, the party was disrupted as the Casino’s security decided xQc wasn’t welcome at the place. The reason given to him is traced back to an article from 2022.
“Went to the Montréal casino after my birthday dinner to spend some time with my family. Split small amounts to each member so we could play table games and laugh. Security came and dragged me out in front of everyone because of a 2022 radio Canada clickbait article. Cringe,” xQc wrote.

It seems xQc got into trouble due to an article that was published back in September 2022. The alleged clickbait article is titled, “Streaming gambling games on Twitch has taken its toll,” when translated into English. The article covers xQc and his gambling streams on various platforms in detail. Apparently, the article didn’t portray a good image of the creator.
A part of the article read, “I tried to get help, but when you always see the streamers you listen to the most [betting money online], it makes you want to do the same,” making it seem like xQc was being blamed for a person’s gambling addiction that cost him around $80,000.
How did xQc react to the hate against his gambling streams?

Although the latter has often received some strong criticism for his gambling streams, he has always tried to refrain from reacting to the hate. However, there are incidents when the creator has directly addressed the ongoing hate against his gambling streams.

“It was just really, not disheartening, disappointing. I’d say to see other people like waiting for me to be under fire again to pile on and get bonus points on their maps because they know I don’t have a good standing with the world right now, so they just want to pile on. It’s just weird to see people and their opportunism. It is what it is though. Like I’ve always said, you don’t need timing when you’re right, you just don’t. If you have something to say and have some criticism with somebody, it doesn’t matter when you say it, you can just f*cking say it. Chiming in is stupid,” he had stated during one of his live streams on Kick.
