Sledgehammer’s upcoming game will introduce a lot of fresh elements for the first time in the entire Modern Warfare universe. For example, it will feature an open-world Zombies mode. The latter will follow a PvE format, requiring the players to loot and make a successful extraction after completing the objectives. In order to do so, they will need to form teams with other players. MWIII is also going to have a Carry Forward option. It will enable the players to keep using their purchased cosmetics and items from MWII. And there are 16 remastered maps coming as well, based on 2009’s iconic Modern Warfare 2.
